Autodesk to Host Smart Manufacturing Celebration Event with Paragon D&E

Following the success of the Advanced Manufacturing Facility re-launch in Birmingham, UK, Autodesk is launching a second event, the Smart Manufacturing Celebration. It will be hosted at Paragon D&E in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 26th and April 27th, 2018.

The event will focus on current and emerging technologies that are transforming how we make things – and what we make. If you are shaping the future of your company’s design and manufacturing, the Smart Manufacturing Celebration will inspire and engage you with informative keynotes, innovation and networking opportunities.

Top industry experts from organizations around the world will cover topics including the latest developments in hybrid and additive machining, simulation, materials and emerging manufacturing methods.

On April 26th, companies will get a first-hand look at the new release of PowerMill 2019, the newly-launched Fusion Production, and hear from both Paragon D&E and Autodesk on how the customer experience between the two companies has been instrumental in developing new manufacturing processes and evolving of Autodesk’s advanced manufacturing software solutions.

On April 27th, attendees will get insight into the “factory of the future” with keynote presentations from a full lineup of manufacturing experts: Todd Soderquist, chief program engineer at Ford Performance, Matthias Dannapfel, head of department factory planning at RWTH Aachen University, and Kevin McDunn, chief technology officer at UI Labs.
