The following web site, (designed and built by community college students and faculty in New Jersey-USA), is intended to increase and foster knowledge in the area of Mechanical Engineering Technology. Information on the site deals mostly with model steam engines and includes a number of free plans for steam engines and other related projects. We are asking you to visit this site and provide any feedback via our guestbook. Please go to:

Please forward this to others who may be interested in this subject matter. We also ask you to post this site on any links related to your site (if possible).

Maaaaan, they're building steam engines out east too?
I'm taking a machining course at my local (Los Angeles) community college and it's all about the steam engine here as well.

All I wanted was some tips on the machine work involved in making my perpetual motion machine, but they wont let me do squat without making a train first. ;-)

CHOO CHOO!
Sean.

Our site (with free steam engine plans) is up and running again. (Tripod accidentally shut down about 10% of their sites, including ours)

Nice site , lots of good info for people seeking basic info about mechanical engineering.

Hehehehe......Sean....what about enlightening us about your ballscrew-servo-catcarrier first ?
