I have a Brown and Sharpe #13 circa 1919. I picked up an ID grinding attachment for it. The attachment did not come with any quills. It looks as though the quills are a #4 B&S taper with a thread at the driving end. I want to make some quills but I am unable to measure the internal threads in the spindle sleeve. I don't even know whether the threads are right or left handed. It's easy enough to machine the taper but without knowing the thread at the end I'm screwed. Can anyone help me out? I also checked in the vintage forum but no luck yet. Thanks
