First time posting on this site. I hope someone out there has an answer for us.
We wanted to fix a stripped t- nut in the head of our sharpener. After removing the front timing plate off the head the nuts slide out no problem. EZ fix we thought.
The tool holders slide into the head and lock into a locator slot retained by a small spring plunger. We found a timing mark on one of the large cams under the machine and aligned it with the casting. But no where does it say where to align the locator plate. (the one with letters)
I would also like to reset the grinding wheel height knob.
Any help would be appreciated.

It has been a long time but remember the A is for 118 and the C for 135 angle.. With the outer setting at 118 and A position you should get a chisel point angle correct. This likely 45* looking at the end of the drill.

Good memory. Your right about the 118 and 135 settings.
I am looking for the previous layer. Installing the disc marked D,C,B,A,B,C,D onto the hub.
