15 years ago we purchased a Kent 12x24 surface grinder that was built in the mid-80's. Almost immediately the down-feed counter failed. Over $400.00 later, we bought a replacement, and it also failed just a few months later. I found a solution I would like to share that is far superior. It is an EDM readout with a shutoff circuit that works much better than the original. I can share what 3 axis DRO I used, & you can figure it out like I did, or I can sell you it as a kit for $1000.00 with instructions & wiring schematic.
