After the MMTS show in Montreal, were the 3D printers caught me off guard, I was talking to my wife.

I said "You know, take one of those 3D printers, use multiple food bases, you have a replicator just like they had on the old Star Trek's"

Googled it, already beat to the draw.....

Amazing technology, and I only dreamed about it being as far as it already is, thanks to the info here.

:)

Can't watch your video since I'm at work and don't like doing non-work related activity on the company internet (Yes, PM counts as work related!)...

But I've already seen them 3d printing edible proteins, chocolates, and tissues, so nothing will surprise me anymore.

I have a solidoodle 3, it's amazing how great it works. For the price of roughly $1200 or so bucks It's amazing how often you start to say I'll 3d print "that". haha not affiliated with them at all, even maker bot is great also!

what does it cost?
.
if it is $100 for a pound of anything like food or even a machine part that has to be a factor.
.
many things are possible but are rarely done because of the total cost
