Adapted a Hendly Taper Attachment to a Greeves Klusman Lathe

I had to make all of the attaching pieces including the connecting link from scratch. Since I just completed this, I havent had a chance to officially cut a test taper. But so far things seem to move as they should.

Looks workable? Hendey used a thrust block that pulled (or pushed) on the screw - the pull bar was just secondary. I would think you will do no pulling of cross slide unless you disconnect CS nut from same

Jonoder you are correct. When I use it I will have to pull the bolt from the cross slide nut.
