Sad to see a great manufactuer gone. But who came up with those captions? LOL "magnetic lifting head"? "Crane with drilling attachment"?

These truck cranes come up for sale from time to time, along with drag line cranes of similar vintage. So many avenues and so little time and money. I too would like to see pictorial of the building project. It is not much different than owning old machine tools really. First you buy the machine, then you find something to do with it. Well for some of us anyway! Regards, John.

I have an old Harman crawler crane/dragline,there used to be lots of interest in it,now the only interest is from scrappies. Its got a 4LW Gardner diesel, and runs great. The Harman is a simple machine,a bit like a Osgood mechanically.Which is good....complex machines usually end up scrap when the internal clutches fail.....the Harman is all external bands.
