Cataract lathe

It is a 1915-1930 Hardinge Cataract bench lathe, model 57 (5C collets, 7" swing). That is a bargain price, just for the slide rest. I can't tell from the picture whether the spindle nose is tapered or threaded. But either version is still easy to find tooling to fit. It has no obvious signs of broken or abused parts, making it a very rare machine. It needs a pair of index/locking pins for the headstock and a collet drawbar. The pins are easy to make and a drawbar can be shortened from a later model if one the correct length is not found.
