please help identify Browne & Sharpe machine

Can someone ID this machine from the photo given?

I'm going to see if it's "cool enough to buy" on Sunday. My problem is that I don't have any idea what it is!......At least I'm honest right?

It resembles the No. 2 Cutter Grinding Machine in my 1925 catalog. 435 pounds net

No 3 cast into the post

The post has No3, with Browne & Sharpe just below., but That is ALL I Know

I was just about to say it looks like a No.3 cutter grinder.
Be carefull on this one. It looks like it has been modified. As far as I know the spindle head was not on a swivel plate as this one appears to be. I see other things that have been cut off, such as the brackets for the wheel guards. It looks like some casting breaks in the spindle head bearings.

yeah I saw the breaks too

I'm loosing interest in it already. Transporting it home might be a trick as well.

Oh well, at least I know what it is now. I'll still go to look at it, who knows maybe I'll like it.

If it is cheap enough, it might be worth getting if it has a lot of tooling for the machine.
