Help Identifying Carlton Radial Drill "Auxilliary" Base w/T-Slot Angle Plate Block

It looks like this base attaches to the side of the main base of a Carlton giving the radial drill another work station.

QUESTION: What is the proper name for this base, angle plate and combo?

QUESTION: What radial drills would it attach to? Do you need a RD with a special base to accommodate it?

Here are some pics:

I think this is a pic of this base in use:

I am trying to rescue this from a trip to the scrap yard.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tom

THANKS! for the L-Base info.

I found a few more pics of it installed and yes, the main base actually has a raised surface that is machined, slotted, and drilled for the L-Base. So it's not something you can attach to any base.

All I can say is that I know there is at least one Carlton drill out there that is missing its L-base(!)

Thanks
Tom
