I've just joined, I'm 19 years old and am an Apprentice Truck Technician/Fitter in the UK, I'm trying to identify a lathe that has been in the garage since my parents moved into our house (that was 19 years ago). I believe that the lathe is 1900s ish, this is just going by similar styles of lathe's on google search etc. There is no Manufacturer plates attached to the lathe any where, although it has some part numbers etc stamped into some sections but nothing that really identifies it. So I was hoping some people on here might be able to assist or point me in the right direction. I am currently stripping it down cleaning everything up and reassembling it with the intention of getting a new electric motor and using it for making anything i need etc. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
