Need Help identify this ACME flange nut.

Years ago, I bought the remaining inventory of a local machine tool dealer.
This part was included .
Does anybody recognize this special flange nut?
3/4-8 RH ACME threads
Marked with a number: 270131
I appreciate any help you can give.

It does look the part.... the cut flange would seem to fit in some confined area such as under a table etc.

It appears to be steel, or iron, and most acme feed nuts I see seem to be bronze. That argues against it being a feed nut or the like,
 
The nut is made of bronze (I should have said that, the picture’s color isn’t the best :()
I only have one of them.
Thanks for your input.
 
I would suspect it may be aluminum bronze since it's so light in color. If a magnet sticks to it that would confirm it. I know this doesn't help with identifying it but.....

a grinder.

There were so many small grinders made likely it would be hard to name the machine..but it would be a great part for making a cross movement.
