I am selling a set of collets that I think are Pratt and Whitney #5p. There are 22 total, 3/32 through 21/32 in 1/32s, one unmarked that was bored to about 3/4, and two that are some taper bigger than MT2 but smaller than MT3 (0.6" - 0.75" over the 3.65" length). Some are marked P&W and some are unmarked.
Body diameter = .812"
Head diameter = 1.165"
Length to rim = 3.65"
Thread = 24 tpi
The set comes with a spindle adapter for an MT4 (I don't have a gauge to be sure, but the taper is about 2 1/4" long, 1.24" at the large end and 1.12" at the small end).
Not really sure what these are worth, how about $120 + shipping? Let me know if you want the wooden rack because it will likely increase shipping cost.
I also have this other set of mystery collets that might have fit the same lathe: http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/antique-machinery-and-history/collet-identification-340168/
