siamese dozer

Interesting, I wonder how they did the articulation ?

Appears they did not......

The Terex had a split right down the middle.
Euclid TC-12 Dual-Engine Dozer - Rollag, MN 217 - YouTube

You can clearly see it working to keep the tracks on the ground,
putting more power into the blade. (watch the blade pulley mounts on the
front of the dozer hoods)

Terex 82-8 - YouTube

Here you can see the shot from the rear clearly showing the complete
split of the entire unit. 16 seconds in or so.

Nice one, and this is the later ''variant'' with a third track and drive in the middle The Side-by-Side D9

If memory serves** there was one of the above at Little Brook power station, Dartford, Kent England Google Maps for a while in the 1970's - pushing coal.

** I know I've seen one, but think ''The Brook'' was about the only place it could have been, though I'm not sure.

My 92 Mercedes 300TE wagon has not a SINGLE cup holder in it, anywhere! That said, it's a friggin' awesome car. Makes the Volvos I have driven the past 10 or so years feel like soap box derby specials.

I think there was a siamesed D8 working on the interstate construction in Mississippi around 1970 when I was a kid. I remember my dad stopping on the side of the highway to watch it.

Japanese cars didn't have cup holders either until they figured out how to sell to fat Americans.

Now, my 1 year old son's car seat has 2 cup holders.
