Below photo has it sitting on my 14 inch:

Anyone have a clue? Can't find any names on the castings. Maybe a decal is hidden under the years of grime.

About 6 inch swing and 12 inch centers.

The three jaw chuck has independent jaws, like a 4 jaw.

Ways are flat, look like machined/ground strips screwed to the cast base. First look shows the ways in good shape. Bearings are tight, lead screw, cross feed and compound screws are snug and have all their threads.

I plan on cleaning it up and putting it on my desk.

It is a Goodell-Pratt bench lathe...made in Greenfield Mass about 1900 to 1930...the leed screw may have been added as it does not match the illustrations in the catalog....now you'll have to find all the accessories they sold to go with it....enjoy
