Had a chance to buy several at old tractor dealer auction forty years ago. Have a small modern compressor belted to the PTO pulley on one tractor, which works fine. But the PTO-mount gadget would be handy to move from tractor-to-tractor, maybe. Has anyone here actually used one? How do the rings get lubed...or don't they?

Like this one on E-Bay:
John Deere 1-1/8" Shaft PTO Air Tire Pump Compressor A B G H D 5 6 7 52 | eBay

We have a twin cylinder one ,it works fine and is handy to have BUT the whole concept of mounting anything on the shaft without rigid support is a bad one ,it bangs and shakes about all over the place wearing itself and the tractor out in the process.

IIRC I have seen the nearby grape farmers having a setup, and some overhead
rods to hold up 4-6 air hoses over the rows.

They make air powered hand clippers for trimming the vines.

We have one of the lopers.

They work great for chopping small branches after felling a tree.

For attachment to a tractor one needs to make a support system to keep it steady.
