W-T starting making that saw style in approximately 1939. They made similar units in the early 1950s when it was a subsidiarity of Kearney-Trecker, and still more as the "Walker-Turner Division" of Rockwell. I don't think that saw appears in any of the 1960s catalogs. Is it 14 or 16 inch? Is there a badge on it?
PS They made them in both wood and metal versions.
I've had the metal/wood version for about a decade and it's a very nice small saw. One fitted with urethane tires, Carter guides, a good setup and a 1/2" x .035 Lennox Diemaster variable pitch blade, it's proven to be sturdy, reliable, and easy to get along with.
