My free time is limited, but I'm game to help out if I can. I have a F350 and 4 ton trailer in the Frederick MD area. No crane or forklift, but I've welded a winch on the trailer and have winched heavy loads on and off -- slowly!

My time is pretty limited as well, but I'd be willing to help. I have 4000# forklift, limited storage, and some rigging. I hate to see old iron go to scrap! Sign me up.

Default Nothing is mandatory in the haulers' group . . .

A number of folks have mentioned time availability. I have tried to set a standard of always privately contacting a member via pm, e-mail, or phone when I am planning a haul, so that they can gracefully state to me alone that they cannot help in a particular activity -- no excuse necessary. People are welcome to offer to join in a haul in a public post, but they should not feel unduly pressured. This is a hobby and we are trying to help each other.

P.S.: The last two members joined within 18 minutes of each other -- I think that is a new record!

Log me in too.

I have a 4wd Ford Ranger stepside p/u w/towing package (no trailer), a tow strap, come-along and some logging chains and chain binders. I am CDL licensed to drive anything but an articulated bus and haz-mat. I'm also handy with ropes, knots and rigging tackle; and have experience with heavy rescue, jacks, chain hoists, hydraulic tools, lift bags, cribbing and the like.

Zip code = 21771, Mount Airy, Maryland

I'd like to join. Mostly just as a supporter/pair of eyes/helper, although I've got an engine hoist I can bring with me if the machine is small enough.

Please sign me up as well. I'm in Minneapolis with no spare time or hauling ability in the foreseeable future. I do have quite a bit in the way of rigging items that I could lend if someone was short on such (skates, skis, jacks, chain hoists, heavy A frame, etc.). Let me know if I can help.

Well I don't mind helping out your cause, but being in between jobs at the moment I can't afford to do it for free.

I did just direct a person in Elwood Indiana with an old Horizontal Mill to the site though. He was advertising it on craigs list but didn't seem to be having much luck as it has been on there for a while.

Thumbs up I'm in.......

Like a couple of other members, I should have done this sooner......

I'm located in the northeastern corner of California near the Oregon/Nevada borders. I have a 1/2 ton Ford that pulls my 6'x12' trailer with a capacity of 6k lbs. Also have a wheezy but fairly dependable forklift with about a 5k rating, so could help with transfers at my location. Willing to travel reasonable distances for gas only, no food (I need to lose a few!) with some advance notice.

On another note, I just bought a Hendey lathe located in Tempe, AZ and will have to drive there and back (via 395/95) sometime in the near future, so if anyone needs something moved south I may be able to help.
