    Default Hendey Conehead Lathe

I recently purchased a Hendey Conehead Lathe, 14 x 30, serial number 32716. Wondering if Hendeyman could provide me with any information on this lathe. Thanks!

    hulleywood:

Hendey lathe #32716, a 14 x 30 cone head model as you have stated, was ordered on
November 11, 1941 and was scheduled for completion during mid-March 1942. It was
    shipped with a motor drive featuring a 2hp, frame 225, 1200rpm, 220 volts, 60cycle
motor. The original owner was Petz and Rabold Die and Tool Company, no city or state
was listed. All of the drawings for this lathe have survived, but very little in the way of parts or patterns. The Operator's Manual posted at the beginning of this forum should
give you the information you need for the care and feeding of your lathe.
