Okay, I don't think I've seen that one. I suppose sometime we should combine our records and make up a photo album and head count of all of the LeBlond mills that we know to have been around in the last decade. I've been collecting images from ebay and threads on here, with some notes on when and where. I'm sure you've been doing that too. We need to find a way to preserve all that info for future generations. As always, it's a matter of finding the time.

Sadly, another year has gone by and I haven't touched my little LeBlond mill. It's safe and well cared for, but I don't have the time right now to finish the last bit of work to get it operational. I wish it was running, because I could use it! It's down a few spots on the priority list of machines to finish.

Contrary to most guys, I'm absolutely swamped with work in my one-man business. With the current economics, I need to stay right on focus turning out work and protecting my money. I've got a nice collection of antique machines, some of which are running and get used. I just can't justify the hours right now to work on the others. But they're safe, and I'll get to them someday. Checking out what others are doing on this forum is a bright spot in my day!

Default LeBlond Mill Inventory

Bruce, We are thinking the same. I've added a Blog on these mills:
http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb...gcategoryid=37

You can comment and add photos to it (thanks to johnoder for helping me with that). JimB

That's great, Jim! That's exactly what we needed. Thanks for setting it up! I'll start digging through my files of photos and manuals and start adding to it.

I'm not familiar with how these blogs on PM work. Should I add my info via the Comments, under each thread/category? Are you the only one who can add new threads?

I'd suggest adding one more for general overview/history. I could start scanning and adding pages from my catalog and books, as well as some of the general text I've written on other PM threads.

Bruce, That's great. I'll add the overview/history. This is new for me too. You can comment, insert links and images in your comment. Let's see how that works. Jim

Bruce, I changed the Accessories Blog to History, Documentation and Accessories. http://www.practicalmachinist.com/vb/blogs/jimb/leblond-mill-history-documentation-accessories-241/
I can modify the title again if needed. The accessories will be mainly shown on paper.

Jim B, Thanks for bringing me to my senses here. The serial number of my machine is 15
There is also a 15 stamped on the top inside of the dovetail on the main frame on the left hand side when facing the machine.
