    I bought an old Pryibil spinning lathe one time and this tool was in one of the boxes of tools. The old gentleman that owned it must have used it to spin with as the contact surfaces are polished bright. It may have had serrations on the teeth but they're gone now. I can't make out the top line of the makers mark but I'm sure one of you collectors will recognize it. They may be lasting pinchers but he put them to good use metal spinning.

    And after looking harder at rivett's link I see the maker is R.TIMMONS&SONS
