rivett 608 speedbox FS
I have a rivett 608 speedbox that I am thinking about letting go. it allows forward and reverse control with neutral in the middle. Located in auburn, alabama. It is in very nice shape. I had it open a number of years ago and everything inside looks and works fine. powered up with the original motor and it did what it was supposed to. outside is clean with fresh paint. operating handle and table reinforcement piece included. the bar that connects the two is not original, but it would be easy to make one from 1/4" x 1" flat bar if the one included is not satisfactory. no rust except some surface rust on the flat belt pulley. please let me know if you are interested, I would hold onto this, but I doubt I am ever going to use it. I got parts to convert my machine to use the V belt setup, and no longer need this. and I am trying not to be a hoarder (or maybe trying to diversify my hoardings?)
if there is interest, I will post some pictures. I would sell with or without the motor, prefer local pickup, though I could deliver anywhere along the east coast up to maine towards the end of august for a small fee.
I am asking $250 without motor, $350 with motor

Anchorman, I'm very interested in the speedbox and the $250 sounds like a fair price. I'm in Smyrna, Ga so driving over won't be a problem. Please contact me via email either, jpjiii@att.net or, my business email, john@ae-design.com. As soon as we can make arrangements to drop by your place I'll contact my niece, Phd candiadate at Auburn and we'll vist her as well and maybe get some lemonaide at Toomer's.
Regards,
John P. Jerguson
