I am looking for a fairly great shape South bend lathe. I'm using it for home shop use and don't want to spend alot of money on one but do want one the isn't wore out. I want a Heavy 10" with around 28" centers. I been looking on Ebay and see some I like but the shipping is just to much and most of them are to far away for me to go get. Plus I would like to see what I'm buying before I actually have to buy it. I live in the south central part of Iowa and would drive about 400 miles (500 if it is really in good shape)to get one.
