Wanted- Electric pallet jack. Must be 8K capacity

Even more than 8K would be desirable, but best I can tell 8K is the absolute limit of electric pallet jacks (most are 4,500 to 6,000 lb) 6 foot or longer forks desirable too.
 
I know you said 8k lbs. but if you dont find one, my neighbor has a 6k lbs. Cat for $700. The last one of about 6.
 
I might be interested in the CAT if it's a late model one...like 1995 or newer.
 
Don, Most 8000 # jacks are really 6000# with no warranty on the load wheels as this is the weakest link. look at the overall chasis weight and you can determine that.
 
Actually I've never understood why no one makes a 10,000 lb electric pallet jack.

I have a 10,000 lb manual pallet jack...works great, looks identical to standard 5,000 lb jack but forks are made of steel channel iron, wheels are all steel and it weighs over twice as much as standard jack.

I should think the only limiting factor to doing this in electric is the much greater torque needed to get the load moving across the floor.
