I've got a new job coming up for my Mitz FA10. Its the first time I've had a .004 diameter job for this machine. Any one care to suggest their favorite wire. Thanks!

I have done a lot of .004" wire jobs on Mits SX10 over the years with OKI hard brass, works good. It also works good in the new FA20P. There are lot's of different wire out there, with just as many opinions. ;)

True, the Oki hard brass wire cuts pretty well, but even with the fine wire option, the FA10 will probably struggle with threading it. Best use the stiffest stuff you can find. I've had pretty good results with Gisco Micro-Cut. It's a steel-core brass-coated wire, has pretty decent tensile strength, and it seems to cut and thread a little better than most others in the .0040" range.
