I am having a problem with my Gear Program on the Sodick AQ535L I need to cut a standard 1 1/2" Involute spline 17 tooth 30deg. 
The info seems to be OK all taken from American Mechanical Engineers Standards when I try to generate the tooth profile the program asks at what angle to start from, top or bottom of tooth, number of teeth and left or right cut. No matter what combonation I input I get either Input Error or waiting for command will not generate path. If I re-input some of my other programs they run OK. If anyone out there has the same machine try this program it would be interesting to see what results come back.
