I`m looking for a way to make 4 slots in 3.5 mm (0.137") AL6082 plate.
1 plate , dimensions 100 x 21 mm. (3.9 x 0.8")
The slot preferably has a width of between 0.05 and 0.1 mm (approximately between 0.002 and 0.004")
Exact dimension in this range is not important , as long as its the same over it entire 15 mm (approximately 0.6")length.
Start holes allowed.
WEDM came to mind , is this doable ?
IOW , should I start looking for a company to do this for us ?
