Is that dried EDM sludge in...

I am using a magnet to hold a slug in place while I cut it off... Well it's covered in the usual thick coat of gunk. It dried out over night and has all the little hairs standing at attention. Then it occurred to me... Is that what they put in Etch-A-Sketch's??? Anyone ever bust one open?? Are they chips or powder?? Hmmmm, maybe we should all be selling this stuff to Milton Bradley instead of paying to have it hauled away.

Busted one open when I was a kid... As I recall they were very fine chips, but the new models are probably quite different.

The quality of our "dust" is probably much higher quality than thiers is. I wonder how many five year olds would beg their parents for the finer resolution etch-a-sketch... After all if they want to copy anything from the television it needs to be in HD.

OK, no market for the sludge there...but there's another market, Magnadoodle. Watch the video http://www.howstuffworks.com/magna-doodle.htm and you'll see they use metal filings suspended in a liquid.
