help needed to build a cnc wood lathe

Being a machinist for 32 years i have ran many cnc lathes and mills as well as programming them for a living. My hobby at home is woodworking and I want to build a cnc lathe for turning wood only (no encoder for threading needed). I have no problem making the basic wood lathe using hardened lineal ways, have ball screws on hand, and have a good headstock. What i need is reference to a good book, internet site, or this forum, on how to do the rest such as. what controller to use, what stepper motor to use, what size stepper motor is needed, how to tie it all together. estimated cost of electrical componets, or is there something out there to buy done already that i should look at. christmass is comming and this would be nice under any christmass tree!
