Boss 9 Controle

I got my boss 9. I'm toying with the idea of trying to fix it. The boss 9 seems to have some canned programs in it. Does any one have first hand experiance with boss 9 or the like, compared to say mach1? How much am I loosing going to mach1? Mach1 will probably be inevadable do to lack of parts.

I never did any real work on a Boss 9 (hmm... maybe it was a Boss 8, but basically the same but without the CRT display), but it had some funny hoops you had to jump through. The biggest pain was getting it to accept data from an external application. Nowadays that is probably what you are going to want to do. I wrote a document on how to do that. If you need this just let me know.

Thanks for the feed back. I just got back to you in the other thread as well. Yes the boss 8 and 9 are the same minus the crt. Do you think I would be loosing much by just going to mach1?
