We had a tool come out of our mazak pfh 4800 horizontal mill last night, damaging the collet, we have a new one on its way. I am trying to get the old one out, I was told to take out the cap screw and the collet should come right out. I have been trying to get the cap screw out, but it just seems to be spinning in there, I think the whole thing must be spinning. does anyone know what i have to do to get this out? I have the spindle locked and in the unclamp position. I dont believe there is any way to get behind to see if the whole thing is spinning
