mazak m plus eia programs

yes im programing in eia thru bob cad.the programs work great but tool lenghts dont seem to be correct using the tool presetter.in the g54 or g55 etc i have to change th z after i replace a tool then next tool is to deep or shallow.in mazatrol it works fine.what am i doing wrong?how can i correct this problem.

are you canceling tool length offsets before a tool change?

or

in your fixture offset table do you have a Z offset that may be read?...jim

Another thing.... check your parameters. Mazatrol and EIA has parameters for where to read the tool offset from. You can switch between Tool Data or Tool Offset pages.

Ok, a few more things....

Are you using G43 in your programs? Are you assigning the proper "H" number to the tool? Is your parameter set to read from Tool Data but you're still using an H with the G43?
