I have a milling holder on a Mazak SQT 250MY That is running hot. I would like information on maintainance on these holders, or where to send them for rebuilding. Thanks!

How old is the holder? Is the tool from mazak or another vender? We just bought a Multiplex and were told to rebuild the mill tools once a year. I will find the name of the place we send ours for rebuild monday. You can also pull the part of the holder that goes into the turret out of the tool and add grease. This is not supose to affect how acurate the tool is (runout).

The holder is probably three years old and is not a Mazak holder. The thing looks like it was made from a sewer pipe.
