I am having a problem with the tool changer on my FJV-25, when it cycles around it occasionally makes a high pitch noise, like a brake is applied,
and it intermittenly sputters as if it was binding.Has anyone encountered this, if so how was it corrected.

I've got an FJV-20 apart right now, the casting that hold the carousel broke and the whole thing fell out of the machine. So I can tell you there is a big, rather expensive looking bearing in there.

I've also had the squeel problem, it was after hosing the machine down after doing some wood parts(there was wood chips everywhere). I just spayed about half of can of Kroil up in there, and it worked its way in, and never had a problem since, that is until the whole carousel fell out of the machine.

yeah, i just blew out chips, and unloaded a can of WD-40 around the base and it worked in...I noticed that if the tool changer doesn't get cycled around regularly the coolant will gum and cause this.
