Just two contactors (so I had six contacts to play with) from Size 1 starters, 4 start caps totaling 1000Mfd. Had to interface old mag starter (240v coil) and new (120V) coils for the contactors.
I.E., the new push button station start button works the 120V contactors coil circuit, and the stop button opens the 240V coil circuit in the original mag starter.
No potential relays or other fancy gizmos. The start button does it all - unless you hit it too briefly.
The massive 1926 dated Westinghouse reversing switch does what it is supposed to, but not with the motor running.
This rig gives me 10 of the original 15 HP, which is fine for playing with on the 1916 Lodge & Shipley 24" Selective Head.
