Hi guy's .Picked up this mill cheap,but there was no control panel .The motor is rated 15-30 hp, rpm 3600-7200.Am i too asume that the voltage controls the rpms?.Also,will a vfd get me down into the100-200 rpm range and still have enough torque to run 2" end mills?The other idea was just to replace the head with a geared one like a rambauldi.
Speed changes by dropping out two poles in motor windings.
