Hi
Haas VF1
We had this power outage while the machine was in the middle of taking a groove with circular interpolation.
When we had the power back on , we did the usual .. ie turn on the 'JOG without zero return'
and then turn off the ' door open interlock' so that we can take out the tool from the component without damage.
All fine till now. we moved first the X a bit then the y a bit .. then the machine refused to move any more .
we then turned the power off and on again , then continued the tool removal operation ,when it timed out on us again.
we had to do this 4 times before we could get the tool out . each handle operation timed out in about 10 seconds....
the other VF1 and VF4 dont behave like this . we can keep moving in handle ( albeit very slowly) before the reference for as long as we want.
Any ideas ??
Thanks
Mathen
