I've got a 1994 VF3 and I'm wondering if there are things to take care of with the DC servo motors? The machine has about 14,000 hours on it.

Hmm I think you cant do much harm by pumping some compressed air(DRY !) into the motor while removing the side covers(if there are any) without disassembling the motor)...

Be sure to wear a GAS MASK !

On second thoughts ARB.. It wouldn't be such a good idea..
because if its more than 10 years old, chances are that the insulating material would have started to or have turned brittle. and high pressure air will just remove the material off the coils.
So maybe low pressure air (maybe a blower ) instead of compressed air).
