Just curious about how often you folks add way lube to your SL-20's. We have 2. Both use very little compared to our older HL-4's. (8 hr. day)
The reason I ask: In the early 80's a company I worked for had an Ikegai lathe. The way lube reservoir was always full. The day guy thought I was adding it at night...I thought he was topping it off during the day. It turned out that the pump motor was bad & the ways were galled a bit because of that.
What's a normal way lube consumption on these machines?
