I just finished wiring up a KBPC-240D to a 2hp shunt wound Baldor CD6202.
I've got a few questions. First the motor is very noisey. Throughout the rpm range the electrical buzzing noise coming from the motor is very loud. Is there anyway to lessen this noise or just the nature of the motor?
My other DC baldor does not make this noise. Is quiet as a mouse so thats what got me thinking. Granted this one is only a 1hp.
Also the max rpm does not seem to be close to 1750rpm. The MAX trimpot is adjusted to 100% and It can go more. Just curious if these trimpot max settings are correct or if they vary with each drive. I.E. the manual shows my setting at max but is it really?
