Haas Pallet Scheduler for VF-5????

Howdy,

In another thread here I ran across a link to Training Materials for a new user. Now being nosy, I went there and poked around.

I found this PowerPoint presentation for the Haas Pallet Scheduler.

You MUST use MS Internet Explorer to see it as it wont view in anything else.

Now this scheduler looks so cool and I want it for my VF-5 with the sorry Midaco Pallet System.

I know Haas makes Pallet Systems but they stop at the VF-4 or maybe the 3.

Anyway My Machine doesn't have it and I want it.

It looks so much easier than what I have working now.

I just want the operators lives to be as easy as I can make them.

Right Now I run the pallet Program called O1000 and in it I call up the other two programs and use them as Subroutines.

It gets messy if the operator wants to change something in the co-ordinate or something.

And that F4 BG EDIT seems to work.

But no changes take effect, Unless you step out and totally restart.

So for re-milling parts we just change the tools length offset and keep a running comment on sticky pads on the control fo the tool changed.

Let me know if anybody has the Haas Pallet schedule on a larger Mill.
