We are planning to purchase this machine because of its larger capacity over our GR-510. We have had great success with the 510 over the last 5 or 6 years and I was wondering if anyone using the GR-712 can comment on it's accuracy and rigidity. We are concerned that the 712's extra couple of feet between pillars may sacrifice rigidity.
FYI... We intend to use it primarily for drilling/reaming and the occasional milling job in fixture plank or aluminum.
