Any Haas owners in northern Illinois?

Did you hear about Arthur Machinery going BK? I heard a rumor about a month ago from another machine salesman. I thought it was some salesman BS until our Haas salesman called us and told us they wouldn't be selling the Haas line anymore. It's a shame I've had good luck dealing with Arthur machinery and there service guys are very good. I hope the service guys transfer over to whoever picks up the line.

Chad Arthur the owner of Arthur Machinery is a good friend of mine. I purchased all my machinery from them for the past twenty years. They were a great outfit and I wish them all well.

My understanding is that Morris Group - http://www.morrisgroupinc.com/ currently is providing support while Haas makes a decision on which company to award the franchise to.

Morris Group already owns several HFO's in New England, Florida, Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky and has experienced support people to fill in for Arthur in the meantime.

Frank, have you heard anything from Arthur? Are they planning to open back up? What about the Daewoo line they had?

I don't think Arthur will be opening backup! Chad is now, or will be selling DMG. He has an office there and everything.
