VF1 Programmable Coolant Nozzle Issue

The Haas tech came in and did a PM on this machine. Now after a tool change the progammable nozzle goes to the 0 position and comes back down to the programmed position. Any ideas as to the cause of this while we are waiting to hear back from the tech?

I have the older PCOOL 20 position unit.

Did your HAAS tech change any of the parameters or settings? There is one or more that control how the PCOOL unit works. One selects how many positions your nozzle has and the other one does something else. I can't remember which ones they are as it has been some time since I repaired my unit.

The other thing that was bad on my unit was the little micro switch that runs on a cam wheel with detents on it. The micro switch went bad and was not counting correctly and caused a similar problem such as you describe.
