I stumbled upon this yesterday, didn't know if it was common knowledge. In MDI mode you can access a tool by typing "P" for pocket instead of "T" for tool. So if you look up at the changer, you don't need to then go to the tool page and figure out what tool goes with what pocket. You just say "I want the half inch endmill in pocket 12." P12, ATC FWD, boom. Don't know if anyone knows or cares, but it's the greatest thing ever to me.
