Updates
You get the service guy to come out and update your machine. I've only had Haas for two years, but haven't yet convinced them to let me update the software. The service tech has done my lathe twice.

I try to have them do that when they are already coming out for a service call.
I've had a few updates to fix issues, most turned out to be unrelated...but otherwise never really thought of updating. One exception would be my old Haas mill which won't run Local Subs and the workoffsets are Incremental instead of Absolute which drove me bonkers...that one I really wanted to update the software...but no updates are available for it.
