I am looking for a lathe to use strictly for prototype and short run work.
I saw this lathe and wondered if it would fit the bill or would just cause frustration because of its lack of turning diameter. Would I be better off with
the GT-10 model? How good are Haas lathes on holding tight tolerances
such as +/-.0002 bores and diameters? Are there other small lathes on the market that might be better, keeping in mind they must be quick to set up?
