Can anyone give me a little more info on this alarm and what might actually be causing it? It doesn't seem to really affect anything that I've found so far...

A cyclical redundancy check was performed on the data in the ATM and it does not match the checksum value used. Usually a CRC error means that something changed in memory that should not have. You should be able to make a change in ATM that will generate a new checksum for the CRC checking. I would keep an eye on it.

I apologize, but could you dumb it down for me a bit? I'm a pretty simple guy, and what you posted made little sense.

Does the ATM relate to length and radius offsets stored in the machine?

I don't post differently to this machine than any of the other Haas mills we have, but this is the only control that generates the error.

Do I need to look at a hardware and/or sensor problem? Is there a parameter I need to check?

Also, what is the battery failure mentioned in the 323 message?

Thanks much,

Clueless

The ATM is the Advanced Tool Managment system on the control. Just change any entry in the ATM and it will generate a new checksum. If you need help with this call me.
