I like Royal.
Have an A2-8 on the Dura and just purchased one for the NL with the A2-6.
Both of these are pull to close but they do have dead length and short projection noses as well.
Price is very reasonable and are made in the USA.

He is prolly looking for the front end assy and not the actuator?
When I hear "closer" I think actuator.
In that case - I run Hardinge brand.

Are there any option for a collet closer on a toolroom lathe, TL1, other than the Royal air actuated closers? Thanks.
